In coordination with David Carradine’s estate, we are beginning to bring out some of David’s extensive writings.
Along with being an accomplished actor, musician, composer, artist and more, David was an outstanding writer. Quentin Tarantino remarked that it was David’s quality as a writer as well as an actor that contributed to his decision to write the part of “Bill” in Kill Bill for David.
We are beginning this blog with two of twenty-one magazine articles that David penned years ago. This series, the Barefoot Chronicles, will be serialized on this site at a rate of one every two weeks.
We hope you enjoy them as much as we do and look forward to your comments.

I really like it. I think that it is a very good idea that you came ut with to publish this. It is so interesting to read everything that he has written.

Enjoy the website, however you should know that whoever wrote the art bio made a mistake. The Farmer’s Daughter sculpture is not of wife number 4 Anderson. It is of Gail, wife number 3. A friend of mine saw this piece in Los Angeles (artist) who had their artwork done at the same foundry as David. Gail is the daughter of a family of farmers.
